Membership Information

Is your organization interested in joining INSHPO?

INSHPO consists of a Board of Directors, an elected Executive Council, and committees appointed by the Executive Council. The Board of Directors is composed of one representative each from each member organization. All organizations that meet the following eligibility requirements are invited to apply for membership:

Member Organizations

Member organizations are organizations which are:

  • wholly composed of generalist safety and health practitioner members
  • have a differentiated component of generalist safety and health practitioner members within their structure
  • themselves in whole or in part composed of generalist safety and health practitioner organizations within their country

All member organizations are devoted to the development, promotion, practice and regulation of competence of the safety and health profession, and are constituted on a not-for-profit or charitable basis.

Affiliate Organizations

Affiliate organizations are organizations that subscribe to the ideals of INSHPO, but do not meet the definition of member organizations.
